So after painting my canal I decided that my board was a bit too much brighter then my other terrain.
After posting on terragenesis I was given some advice of using watered down black to make it darker.
So here are some pics of my progress this weekend.
The wash I made in a ratio of 5-1 water to paint.

The camera doesn't really show the colour accurately I was undecided on whether to do a third coat. I decided to leave it at two as it seemed close enough to the other pieces and I didn't want to go too dark.
