Awesome Terrain from the internet

From the "How to lose at 40k" blog
Some really cool terrain I have come across on my search of the internet. Some of it is custom some bought but it is all awesome.  I will post more of the terrain I find with links to where I found it, as I find it.

I've also made a Pinterest board with  some of the things I've found, so you can always watch that space.

Seeing what other people have made is a great way I've found to help get ideas and techniques for my own terrain.

Getting ready for Combat Patrol :Dire Avengers Pt1

There is a Combat Patrol Tornament coming up at the The Unseen Shoppe and the list I'm thinking of using consists of my painted models except for 9 Dire Avengers with an Exarch.
Another blog skulkers-surprise has started a challenge to get all his models painted so this will be my start to that challenge.

I'll be posting some pics of my work as I go about the next two weeks preparing for the comp.

Kill Team rules, What do you think???

Just a short one. Been playing a lot of the newish GW killteam rules and its been pretty good fun.
what experiences have you guys had with it. The fact that the game is so quick to set up and play makes it a good choice for mid week games and since the armies are small it makes it a good place to start if teaching people 40k or for new comers to the hobby.

cheers for now

Carnage

Played a game of carnage to test out the new rules and thought it would be a good time to try out my water canal. The game was a lot of fun and the canal added a lot of character to it.
So first play and a good result. The Game of carnage was loads of fun. With 1000pts of  Tau/Orks/Necrons/Eldar the game ended up being a real blood bath for all involved. I decided to field a Eldar: Iyanden list which didn't prove the best choice with the short range and only 6" movement, it did however keep me under the radar as i was deemed no threat until it was too late. The game ended with the Necrons stealing the objective from under the Wraithlords nose in the final turn.
